I guess I must have missed it when I put up the video of Solange performing on the Early Show, but Beyoncé and mom, Tina Knowles did an exclusive interview with the Early Show and talked a bit about Solange’s career and personality. Someone’s obviously trying to redeem herself in the public eye…

It was definitely a cute interview. It was nice seeing how much support Solo gets from her mom and sister.

Foxy Brown expressed her disappointment recently when she spoke about how she lacked support from Jay-Z, while incarcerated for about 8 months. Foxy, who was arrested for probation violation in 2007, was loyal to Jay-Z when 50 Cent tried to take her from Def Jam.

“There are times when I just really needed him… and he just wasn’t there.”

She also told XXL magazine, “I’ve been incarcerated for eight months, and Jay’s been everywhere, and he hasn’t mentioned one thing about, ‘Tell her I love her. Tell her to be strong.’ That broke my heart more than anything. When they sent me to jail, I just knew he would be there - everyone came. But he never showed up.”

You would have thought that Jay would at least say something to her, but maybe he didn’t want to associate himself with her, because of all the trouble she’s been. I mean, she’s been arrested so many times.

Kelly Rowland recently filmed a commercial for the Nike + Human Race commercial in Hilversum, Netherlands. The event is taking place across 25 cities, where people will be running a 10K race on August 31st in the largest world wide race ever. The earnings from the race will be put towards thee charities: The Lance Armstrong Foundation, The UN Refugee Agency and WWF.

Kelly will be performing at the event held in Paris, France, while other performers will attend the events in different countries.

Apparently, Ne-Yo and Jay-Z were out partying and drinking together and the R&B star was having a bit more to drink than everyone else. Before he knew it, he was getting sick in front of Jay’s car.

He says, “I learned the hard way that me and liquor do not mix. I’m not the violent one, I am just the one throwing up. I went out with Jay-Z once. Shots came around but around the fifth I noticed that no one else was drinking them.  Nine later and I was throwing up outside of Jay-Z’s car. He threatened to send me the cleaning bill if I was sick inside.”

Uh…yeah. That’s nasty and irresponsible. If everyone stops drinking than maybe it’s a sign that you should too. Something tells me no one’s going to be inviting Ne-Yo out to go clubbing.

Alright, so with all the Solange and Jay-Z news circulating, I thought it was time for a bit more Beyoncé! I was looking through some older pics of Bey, and I found this photo of her at the 2007 American Music Awards.

I really, really like the color of the dress. She’s literally glowing! Her hair looked amazing and her makeup is beautiful. I like that it’s a bit more relaxed, yet still has the "wow" factor. Dramatic lashes always add a nice touch. Also, just let me say that this dress definitely shows off her assets ;). I’d love to hear your opinions. Is this outfit hot or not?

Solange Knowles was on the Early Show this morning, promoting her new album, "Sol-Angel and the Hadley St. Dreams." She explains a bit about the name of the album, which I’ve been curious about. Solo also performs her song "I Decided" and I thought she did a good job! Check out the video!

I’m really glad she’s talking about this. Solange Knowles made a video today explaining what happened yesterday when she got angry with the news crew at KVVU.  She also spoke about her new album and of the Democratic National Convention. I know I have my DVR recording it as we speak

After hearing what she had to say in the video, I am on her side. Regardless of whether or not they included the part about Jay-Z on the air, it’s still unprofessional to say what they said. That kind of thing shouldn’t have even been discussed at all  - especially right before her interview. It definitely helps to have her explain what happened. What about you guys? Was her reaction reasonable?

For the record, I’ve never really been a fan of FOX News anyway.

Noel Gallagher may not have been happy about Jay-Z performing at this year’s Glastonbury festival, but British DJ, Fatboy Slim, thought it was a great idea.

The DJ said,  "What Jay-Z did was brave, but it was very clever. He rocked that place so it proves he made the right decision."

Norman “Fatboy Slim” Cook performed at the UK dance festival, Creamfields, alongside rockers, Kasabian and added, "I don’t have a problem with a rock band performing at an event like this. Everyone likes something a little different, and Jay-Z proved that."

Solange Knowles was on the Late Show with David Letterman, promoting her new album, "Sol-Angel and the Hadley St. Dreams" at the Ed Sullivan Theatre on August 25th. If I find a video of her performance, I’ll be sure to put it up.
