Arctic Monkey Loves Beyoncé
Let the British love for Beyoncé continue! Earlier this month, I posted a video of British band, Keane, doing a cover of Bootylicious (mixed with Christina Aguilera’s “Dirrty”). Now, Alex Turner, the lead singer for the super popular Brit group Arctic Monkeys has revealed that he has a soft spot for Ms. B.
The group’s single, “Brainstorm” was vying for the top spot on the charts when Beyonce’s duet with Shakira, “Beautiful Liar” came on the scene and here’s what he had to say about it:
“Come on. How does a tune like Brianstorm challenge Beyonce? For us to even get near that with such a strange tune is a good thing. Beyonce can have the No 1. I’ve always been a fan of hers. I love her.”
