Bee Gees Show Love for Destiny’s Child

The Bee Gees were recently honored for their songwriting acheivements at the BMI Awards. The two living Gibb brothers, Barry and Robin, were serenaded by artists singing some of their most famous songs.
When asked later about the various covers other artists have done on their music, they did say that one stood out. Robin said “We’ve had Beyoncé do our music, ‘Emotion,’ and [Barbra] Streisand, ‘Woman in Love. It’s very difficult to know what artist, because they’ll do a totally different take than actually the way we wrote it. But it’s always interesting. I think ‘Emotion,’ by Destiny’s Child, is probably my favorite.”
