Beyoncé Gets 16th Hit, Tops Destiny’s Child Record

Beyoncé has really outdone herself. The singer has topped Destiny’s Child’s record for the most singles to make it to the Top 40.

Her new song “Halo” jumped from #41 to #37, giving Bey her 16th single to reach Top 40 status, beating Destiny’s Child’s record of 13. “Halo” was co-written by Ryan Tedder and is off of her double-disc album “I Am…Sasha Fierce.”
