Beyoncé Gets 3 Wins at the 2009 Soul Train Awards

On Tuesday, the 2009 Soul Train Awards were held and Beyoncé wound up bringing home three awards, and the woman was nominated four times! She claimed the awards for Best Female R&B Artist, Song of the Year for “Single Ladies (Put a Ring On It)” and Album of the Year for I Am…Sasha Fierce.
The only category that she didn’t win was for Record of the Year (Songwriter Award), which went to Jamie Foxx for “Blame It.” Unfortunately, Solange didn’t come home with an award, but it’s great that she was nominated for Best New Artist. But anyone could have predicted that Ms. Keri Hilson would snatch up that award!
