Beyoncé Music Update: Upcoming Album, Collab with JT and an Unreleased Song!

The Album:

I don’t know about y’all, but I’m extremely excited for Beyoncé’s new CD, and I’m happy to tell you that there is an official date for it’s release. November 18th should be the day when her third solo studio album hits stores. This is supposed to be the most personal and genuine out of all of her albums, so it’s become very much anticipated. The two singles, “If I Were A Boy” and “Single Ladies” should hit the radio at the same time on October 7th.

The Collab with JT:

Following the performance Beyoncé and Justin Timberlake gave at Fashion Rocks 2008, singing Marvin Gaye and Tammi Terrell’s song, “Ain’t Nothing Like The Real Thing“, JT revealed that he will be working with Bey in the studio.  He says, “I’ll be in the studio this week with Beyonce. Who knows what will come out of that,”

It’s about time! I’ve been waiting for those two to get together and make something. I wonder if they’ll make more of a danceable hit or if they’ll try something a bit more soulful. We shall see, mis amigos!

The Unreleased Track:

In other news, have you guys heard the unreleased song, “Settle 4 U?” Someone sent me this song and when I heard it, I liked it. It’s so calm and mellow.  Sure, it’s great to see her busting out those big notes, but it’s nice to hear this more laid back song. You can listen to it here.
