Beyoncé Performing at 2008 Fashion Rocks

September 8, 2008 by Lauren Croteau

Check out the video of BeyoncĂ© performing”Just Stand Up” alongside a variety of different celebs including Mary J Blige, Nicole Sherzinger and Rihanna at the 2008 Fashion Rocks on Friday. They all sounded great and I was really touched by the performance. It’s great to have so many of these stars working to benefit cancer. I was just slightly disappointed with Miley Cyrus. I think her singing and they way she acted was a tad childish. There’s a way to be happy at an event like this, without seeming like you missed the point of the performance. That’s just my opinion. However, I was surprised by Bey’s hair. It was so short!

Enjoy the video!

Miley was a bit chilsh yeah, and her voice was so sharp…

Come on, Lauren! You’re slipping, ma! LOL! Bey’s hair was on account of her Etta James tribute that was being filmed that same night for Fashion Rocks! in NY. If you see her performance pics with Justin Timberlake/her red carpet pics, she has her normal honey blonde and brown, straight hair. She also has on what they’re saying is her engagement/wedding ring. IT’S HUGE at a staggering 18 carats and cost…wait for it…5 MILLION DOLLARS! Jay wasn’t playing when he said “that ring on your finger like a tumor”

Thank you, Queen Dee! I’m sorry I haven’t been more on the ball with this news! I’ve been going through heck with my laptop for a little while. But I’m going to try to update on all this by tonight.
