Beyoncé To Sing at Movie Rocks
Beyoncé will be singing “Somewhere Over the Rainbow” from the classic movie, “The Wizard of Oz” at Movie Rocks.
The event that is wrapped in a concert held at Los Angeles’ Kodak Theater on December 2 will showcase the stars singing notable songs from movies such as ‘Wizard of Oz’, ‘Casablanca’, James Bond’s ‘Live and Let Die’ and many more.
“We wanted to create an extraordinary show that would pay tribute to the indelible impact music has on film,” Conde Nast Media Group President Richard Beckman told Asscoiated Press on Wednesday (October 23). Proceeds from this concert will go to Entertainment Industry Foundation.
CBS will air the taped event on December 7 in a two-hour TV special. In addition there will be a medley of songs composed by songwriter and pianist John Williams who have penned tracks from movies such as ‘E.T.’, ‘Schindler’s List’ and ‘Harry Potter’ series.
This sounds fantastic! I just know Bey is going to be great!
