Beyoncé’s Throws Dance Party for Solange

People magazine is reporting that Beyoncé threw a birthday party for her younger sister, Solange. You know it couldn’t just be a sit around and lounge type of shindig, right? Bey went all out and created what sounds like an awesome dance party for Solange’s 22nd birthday on Monday night. Guests included Ludacris, Ne-Yo, Mario and Destiny Child’s Michelle Williams.
They hired DJ Samantha Ronson who, of course, brought gal pal (some people say more…) Lindsay Lohan who stayed close to the DJ booth all night but left when the guests really started arriving. Interesting, huh? Anyway, they danced to tracks like Prince’s “Kiss” and Bob Marley’s “Could You Be Loved.” Solange also requested that most of the music include the hits of both Bey and Jay-Z.
When it comes to these types of events, I’m always curious about the food and this story doesn’t disappoint. They reportedly chowed down on barbecue chicken, cornbread, greens and mac and cheese (served buffet-style) and finished with cupcakes bearing large white candles which were passed through the crowd as everyone sang to Solange, who “blew out the candles and banged on her tambourine.”
Can you imagine what it feels like to have a party like this!?!?!?

Solo looked a mess, I’m sorry. And Bey looked cute and simple, but something seems “off” about her lately. Still sounded like a fun party, though.
