Rapper, Wale sat down with Honey magazine, for an interview recently, where he3 was asked about his relationship to Solange Knowles.

On Tuesday, the 2009 Soul Train Awards were held and Beyoncé wound up bringing home three awards, and the woman was nominated four times! She claimed the awards for Best Female R&B Artist, Song of the Year for “Single Ladies (Put a Ring On It)” and Album of the Year for I Am…Sasha Fierce.

Solange Knowles has officially parted ways with her record label, Interscope Records. Solo announced the news herself recently in a statement.
She revealed, "Although it’s been a wonderful journey & experience at Interscope Records, after truly recognizing what’s important to ME as an artist, I decided it was time for me to continue my path on a more independent platform. “
 
She continued on by saying that she has “nothing but respect for the Interscope family."  Well, good luck to Solange! Hopefully this just makes her that much happier.

Yesterday, Solange Knowles was on Oprah where she spoke about her hair and her decision to cut it all off. The whole episode was about how women, especially black women, are too concerned about their hair and how their hair is seen in the eyes of others.
After Solo shaved her head, it was ridiculous the amount of attention she received and she explained that she was pretty disappointed in everyone, considering she was more talked about on Twitter than the Iranian elections! The 2009 MTV Video Music Awards were held last night in New York City and among the celebrities in attendance was Solange Knowles. She was definitely rocking her newly shaved head. I think it looks good on her!
Her dress was cute too. Her whole outfit was black with touches of bright pink lipstick and nail polish. It’s actually pretty tame and normal outfit for Solange, who loves the bold looks. Ms. Solange Knowles has come a long way in the style department since the public was first introduced to her. Solange started attending more events in the year of 2002 where we really got a sense of what her style really was.
The hair and the clothing from then to now have changed pretty drastically. The photo below is of Solange in December of 2002 attending the Billboard Music Awards. All I can say is that I’m glad she’s moved on!

Holy smokes. Beyoncé and Solange Knowles have been in Japan for the past few days promoting the “Samantha Thavasa & Disney Handbag Collection”. However, their stay hasn’t been filled with beauty, fashion and all that goodness. Rather, Beyoncé woke up terrified as the second earthquake in two days hit Japan.
This one measured 6.6 on the Richter scale, injuring 43 people and even caused a nuclear power plant to shut down. Though Beyoncé and Solange were unharmed it still scared the heck out of Bey. Solange, on the other hand, slept through it all!

Sisters, Beyoncé and Solange Knowles are currently in Tokyo, Japan. Yesterday they attended the “Samantha Thavasa & Disney Handbag Collection” held at the Tokyo Disneyland Hotel. Beyoncé looked amazing in her cute little purple/blue dress. Loving the hair too.
I think that Solange is working her newly shaved hair. However, I just don’t like what Solo is wearing! it just looks awful, in my opinion. Sometimes her boldness works and sometimes she really misses the mark. What do you guys think?
