India Gets Ready For Beyoncé
After tearing it up in Ethiopia, Beyoncé is set to give India the “Beyoncé Experience.” Beyoncé will be performing at the Bandra Kurla Complex on October 27.
Indians are pretty excited too. I read this article on one of their news sites:
Her show is deemed to be one with visual effects with about 85 female dancers. “While I’m excited to perform in India; I’m a great fan of Indian music as well. I have so many favourite Indian artistes that it’s difficult to pick just one,” she says. Who knows she might just end up collaborating with one of her favourites. Like every other foreign artiste, the one thing that Beyonce wouldn’t go from India without buying is saree.
“I wouldn’t miss the sarees,” she says. The beauty set out television screens on fire with her duet with singer Shakira. So would she do another video with the musician? “It would be great to work with Shakira again. Shakira and I are very supportive of each other,” she avers.
Beyonce also appeared in the film ‘The Pink Panther’ opposite actor Steve Martin and says the experience was not too difficult.
“When I’m doing a movie, I have to be fully vested. I totally get into the character and live that role. I will continue doing the music until I can carve out the time to fully dedicate to a film,” she says adding that right now it’s Indian bindis, sarees and food on her mind. The singer never forgets to thank her family for being around her.
“By the end of it all, whatever the difficulties there may be, I am grateful for the ups and the downs. I am lucky to be doing something I’ve loved since my childhood,” says the diva.
