Jay-Z Helping Out Obama Campaign with Free Shows

MTV is reporting that Jay-Z will be giving two free shows in Detroit and Miami to promote voting registration and encourage people to vote for presidential candidate, Barack Obama, before the deadline on October 6th.
Jay’s first stop will be at the Cobo Arena in Detroit, Michigan on Saturday. Then, on Sunday, he’ll be stopping at Bayfront Park in Miami, Florida. I love seeing celebrities encouraging people to vote! It’s something more people should be doing.

I wish I could go because I only live one hour away from Miami, but I have school the next morning. *frowns* I love that Jay’s doing his best to get the younger generation to vote.
And LC, he just got an award from the UN for his continued work with the UN for the “Water for Life” cause he started working with in ‘06.
