Kelly Rowland, a former member of Destiny’s Child and BFF of Beyoncé Knowles, has been appointed as the Special Ambassador to MTV’s “Staying Alive” foundation. Kelly’s mission is to empower young people who are protecting themselves and their communities against HIV and AIDS.
She will be travelling to Africa in late June where she will maked stops in South Africa, Ghana, Tanzania, Mozambique, Kenya and Angola and visit Staying Alive Foundation grant recipients and grassroots projects supported and funded by the Foundation.
What a worthy cause! I know she is going to be great!
