  Man I’m so disopointed with her. I love her music,but that night she sounded like a rookie. If she knew she couldn’t sing after doing all that dancing she should have laied off on all the choreography (I hope I spelled that right).

  Ok, Kelly Rowland’s performance just proved to the world that she CAN NOT SING. It was awful!!! I was embarrased for the girl. In my opinion, she’s never been able to sing. Beyonce was Destiny’s Child. Kelly and Michelle were just along for the ride. Beyonce is truly talented. Kelly should either work on her vocals or go away quietly.

  Kelly’s performance was great, the vocals started out a little shaky but got better towards the middle of the song…overall, I thought it was a great high energy performance, everyone in the audience were on their feet & screaming the whole time

  Kelly Rowland performances was awesome she can dance but the singing is usually better.However Solange Beyonce’s sister was shaking her ass like crazy. michelle just sucked plus beyonce can shake her ass like crazy too.

  Beyonce is always kickin’. You just can’t expect Kelly to be her or perform like her. I think Kelly is gorgeous. She can sing, too. I feel sorry for her though, it’s tough in Beyonce’s shadow.

  Beyonce put on a good performance. But I was upset that kelly’s performance had to begin and end with the re-appearance of Beyonce though. It’s almost a subtle ‘jibe’…at kelly and the rest of the world that B will always be better.

  Beyonce has been on her own for a while obviously Kelly must have felt enormous pressue having to follow up her act. I blame management! Oh that’s B’s father again isn’t it? Here we go again!!!

  Wow, I didn’t think my personal OPINION would stir up all these emotions. I normally don’t participate in such verbal nonsense but when I checked my email and saw all of the ridiculous and uneducated responses I felt compelled to “holla back” at some of you. I’m going to start by saying that this is a message board and if you can’t handle other people’s opinion then keep it moving. Why label someone a hater for expressing an opinion? Grow up kiddies, people see things differently - it’s called life! I am sticking by my assessment of Kelly’s performance - it was bad - that’s my opinion and if you don’t like it, too bad. I appreciate true talent, ie; Erykah Badu, Jill Scott, Beyonce, Keisha Cole, Mary J. Blige - I’m sure you get the idea. Kelly is not it, and that’s that. Kelly should be expected, actually, required to give more to the few fans she has. I’m tired of bootleg artists, studio singers, and crap rappers. They’re supposed to be “artist” so what’s wrong with holding them to it? Kelly is nothing but a gimmick.

  i agree with RED, with the reappearance of Bey it was only a subtle reminder that Kelly will always be in her shadow. i think kelly has a hard time singing live, it’s almost as if she can’t catch her breath at points.

  Watch kelly rowlands performances on youtube trust me she can sing live, she even stated in an interview that she had to run from backstage all the way around to the middle of the audience without being seen by cameras that’s y she was out of breath and for everyone who says how much better Beyonce is take it from anyone who has been in the music industry she lip synched that song I mean she didn’t have to because even when she sings live she sounds relatively good.   I am a producer, singers like Mary J Blige sang “flat” for years, only being rounded out (like many!) by producers using high-tech software. Even some of the best have bad days, physically or mentally. Even singers like…lip-synching… uh… my bad, I’ve said too much! ‘Got to keep the money flowing. Er’…they are all great performers!
