Mathew Knowles Weighs In On Beyoncé’s Fall

Mathew Knowles, a.k.a. Beyoncé’s dad, decided to add his thoughts about falling… Yeah - and why is this necessary???

Beyoncé’s video of her taking a spill during a concert has made the rounds on the internet. Despite the embarrassment she has felt, her father is extremely proud of the way she handled the fall:

I don’t think falling in life is a failure. I think what’s a failure is when you fall and you stay down. If you get up, then I call that success. So I’m proud ‘cause we all fall in life and the key is, ‘Do you get up and do you do it better?’ And for that I’m proud.

Now that the “After School Special” moment is over, what the heck was that all about? Human beings fall - why do we need a whole speech about it? If he was proud of how she handled herself, why didn’t he stop her from pulling the videos from the ‘net?
