Tons of rappers have come out to speak about Jay-Z’s newest released track, “D.O.A. (Death of Auto-tune).” The track slams artists who are using auto-tune saying that only artists like Kanye West, T-Pain and Lil  Wayne should be doing it.

DJ Khaled said of the track, “It’s an amazing record. Jay-Z is one of the best in the game. Shout to Jay-Z for shouting me out [on the record]. I salute that, you feel me? I mean, music is music, you know what I’m saying? He ain’t dissing nobody, he’s just saying it’s overdone. He shouted brothers like T-Pain that’s supposed to do it.”

Soulja Boy seems to think that Jay was telling everyone not to use it. He says, “That’s a crazy track. I know it’s gon’ stir up a lot of controversy, but Jay-Z is one of the best so a lot of people gon be tuned into it, man. I don’t know what to say about that one. If people [will] stop using it, I don’t know, man? T-Pain, his whole thing is Auto-Tune, so you asking you think it’ll end T-Pain’s career?”

T-Pain even says that the release of this song has made his label decided to push up the release of his album. It was originally supposed to be released in September of next year, but they moved the date to November of this year. Craziness! He also says that Jay-Z’s track has made him want to continue doing auto-tune.  It’s amazing to see how they feel about it. I personally think it’s a great track and I agree that auto-tune should be limited. When you just start using it for no reason and you don’t do it well, it loses it’s point.

Hey guys! For those of you who simply cannot wait to see the music video for “Broken-Hearted Girl”, here is a bootleg version of it. The song was meant to be released as the sixth single from Beyoncé’s album “I Am…Sasha Fierce”, however, it was replaced by her single “Sweet Dreams.” The music video for “Broken-Hearted Girl” will be released officially on her new remixes and video album “Above and Beyoncé: Dance Mixes” which will be released tomorrow!

I’ll watch it when the high quality video is released but I know some of you guys are dying to see a sneak peek of it!

We’ve seen five new music videos from Beyoncé since the release of her double disc album, “I Am…Sasha Fierce.” These include “Single Ladies (Put a Ring On It)”, “If I Were a Boy”, “Halo”, “Diva” and “Ego.” We are currently waiting on the sixth music video which has confirmed to of Beyoncé’s “Sweet Dreams” single. There has been no confirmed date as to when exactly we should be seeing the music video but Beyoncé seems to be happy with how it turned out.

Adria Petty, who worked with Duffy for her “Mercy” video, directed the video for “Sweet Dreams.”  It has been described as "something really graphic."

Beyoncé says of the song, "It’s basically saying that this relationship is so wonderful that it scares me… is it a sweet dream or beautiful nightmare?"

Solange Knowles has been confirmed to be among those presenting awards at the 2009 BET Awards! How fun! She’ll be joined by Queen Latifah and The View’s Sherri Shepherd. Also, Beyoncé’s co-star in the movie “Obsessed”, Idris Elba, will also be presenting that night.

Awesome! So, that means all three of them, Beyoncé, Jay-Z  (who will both be performing) and Solange will be involved with the show. Tune in to see on June 28th, 8pm EST on BET!

Some media outlets are going crazy over reports that Beyoncé was asked to be driven a distance of 14 meters by car across the street. She was reportedly staying at the Mandarin Oriental Hotel in London, England and wanted to be taken to Harvey Nicholls.

Beyoncé reportedly did not want to walk in her high heel and returned back to the hotel after staying 20 minutes in the store.

A source tells The Daily Star, "Beyoncé has always been down to earth but her antics were astonishing. It looked like they were preparing for a long journey, but it was over as soon as it began. It would have been much quicker to have strolled across the road."

Beyoncé has since left the UK and is now in New York City where she plans to continue her “I Am…” World Tour. Well, as much as she sounds like a diva for doing this, I understand her. When you’ve got people barreling through security to try to get to you, there’s a point where you need to be careful. And then take into account, the paparazzi. I don’t see that big of a problem with what she did. What do you guys think?

Fans who paid to see Beyoncé perform at the O2 Arena in London, England got treated to a special bonus as George Michael got up on stage! The two if them joined together to sing Bey’s hit single “If I Were a Boy” and the crowd went wild for it. 

Controversial singer, Katy Perry was in the audience and says of the show, “Beyonce is a living legend, this is true. I might have seen one of the best shows I ever saw tonight.”

They sounded good together and George still looks great after all of these years! I’m jealous! As if I already wished I was there, they had to throw George Michael into the mix. Not fair! Enjoy the video!

It was a bit of a shocker when Kelly Rowland, former member of Destiny’s Child, called it quits and fired her manager, Mathew Knowles, father to Beyoncé and Solange.

When asked about why she felt she needed to split with Mathew Knowles she simply said, "I just felt like I wasn’t growing anymore."

She continues to explain her choice, "It took a long time to actually come up with the final decision because it was something that you think about before when you feel like you’re almost hitting a ceiling. I wanted a change. I needed a change. So that’s what happened".

I’m sure it was a hard decision for her to make. After all the years of being friends with Beyoncé and being a part of Destiny’s Child, it had to be tough and a little nerve wracking to end it. But I firmly believe she did what she had to do. Who knows? Maybe she’ll find the success she’s looking for. I mean, already she’s gotten herself a spot as the host on “The Fashion Show” and her new single “When Love takes Over” with David Guetta has been doing relatively well.

Yesterday, Beyoncé arrived at JFK airport in New York after performing in Europe for her “I Am….” World Tour. The singer will resume her world tour on June 21st in New York City where she’ll be holding a concert in Madison Square Garden. She’ll end the North American part of the tour with four days of shows in Las Vegas at the Encore Theatre.

Bey was looking a lot more shy and subdued than usual. I’m sure she’d like to have some privacy every once and a while. It must be nice to be back home after being on the road for so long. She’ll finally get to be with husband Jay-Z again. She’s been gone for a while! Enjoy the pics!

As if the 2009 BET Awards didn’t seem awesome enough, Jay-Z has been added to the line up of performers. With the anticipated release of his album “Blueprint 3” and the release of his new album “D.O.A” I’m sure he seemed like an obvious choice.  Wife, Beyoncé has already been confirmed for the awards show along with Kanye West, Ne-Yo, Maxwell and The-Dream.

In other news, Jay-Z explained the recent growth of his hair on new York’s Hot 97 recently. He said, “I started [working on Blueprint 3] last year and it’s getting really bad. It’s terrible. But I think for the art, I can live with it. A lot of girls kind of like it. So I’m trying to hold onto it. I’m trying to elongate the album.”

I was wondering what the hair growth was all about. Turns out he’s just been too busy to get a haircut! I wonder if Beyoncé’s liking.

The ever so talented, Beyoncé Knowles was spotted in London, England doing what girls do best…shopping! Specifically, she was seen at the Harvey Nichols store yesterday. I love her sunglasses! They’re a little edgier. More like something her sister Solange would wear. I don’t know how I’m feeling about that jumpsuit though.  The sandals are definitely cute. What do you think?
