US Troops to Get "Beyoncé Experience"
Well, it pales in comparison to what, I’m sure, they would rather being doing but the U.S. troops that are stationed worldwide will be able to watch broadcasts of recent concerts by Beyoncé, Garth Brooks and Celine Dion on New Years Eve.
The show will start at 9pm Iraqi time with Celine Dion’s "A New Day" show from Las Vegas (it just ended this month after a 5-year run).
At 11pm, "The Beyoncé Experience" will begin, including performances from Jay-Z and the recent Destiny’s Child’s reunion.
At 2am, Garth Brooks will be beamed in doing his ‘One Artist, One City, One Time’ show.
"For our troops who give so much all year round, this is our chance to thank them the best way we know how, by providing them some of this year’s finest entertainment," said John Rubey, President of AEG Network LIVE in a statement.
Well, there are other ways we can show our appreciation but this is the least that can be done. Happy New Year to the troops!!!
